Re: I Need this Job Jesus, Please bless me with this job that I had an interview on Friday for. Its only Monday, if I dont get this Job, I dont know how i'll make it to Friday. You know my circumstances; you know that i have asked for forgiveness from my sins and want to extend that forgiveness to others who have hurt me. You know their names I have brought them to your attention. Please release me from this burden and the bondage that unforgiveness puts us in. Release me from this pit. Release me so that I know you are real. This week is so long, if I dont get this job I dont know how i'll make it to Friday. Your word says that when we call you you'll answer. I have called to you, please answer. I have brought my needs to you and yet you still feel far away. Please do not turn your face from me. I have read about your miracles that you do for others, please do the same for me. Reach into my heart and help me; restore me. I know that I have uttered some vows to you in the past that I have not kept, and your word says better not to vow to God if you cant keep it. Please forgive me of this. What more do you want? Re: I Need this Job Lord I don't know the plans you have for this person, but I know you do. You said that the Your plans are to bless and prosper us. You also said that Your our provider and that we shouldn't have to worry about this that you provide for the sparrows how much more are we in your care. You are not alone friend...I just lost my job as well, and I have a mortgage payment that is due, etc...but I am trusting God for something so much better, and you should too!!! Being a Christian doesn't mean we won't get knocked off our feet, it just means we get back up alot quicker because Jesus is our Savior, and He will have the victory over that darn devil! Amen? Re: I Need this Job I had a job I hated but I did the job as if to the Lord and my boss laid me off without telling, I had to find out when I came in to work(they didn't like me because they found out I was a christian. My x boss told me of a position exactly like the one I had down the street and I asked her if she could refer me because I was a good employee. I scrubbed a big fryer, stock shelves, mop the floor, seperate bottles AND run the cash register. It was fryday when she laid me off and I cried at first then I realized that the Lord was incontrol of my life(a single mom) and monday I went to the store and got hired and it was the exact same job but I didn't have to scrub the fryer or stock the shelves or mop the floor. All I had to do was run the cash register and clean an ice cream machine( and that was hard... hahaha : ) God IS FAITHFUL! I know that because he helped me when I was a single mother. He had to teach me time and time again that He is faithful. He will provide. Keep believing and praise him instead of complaining that will definately get His attention!
