Re: quitting my addiction for the 1001th time today

Dear God,

Someone else posted this in another thread on this forum --

"Jesus said: 'Again, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.'"

-Matthew 18:18_20

Very powerful words! If you are here, I wanted you to know that I am quitting my addiction for the 1001th time today. I'm wondering (hoping) if you could lend me a hand?

As the day goes on, and the urge gets worse and worse, those will be the times I need you most.

In your name,
Amen

Re: quitting my addiction for the 1001th time today

Lord I pray for both of these people comming from a place of deliverance myself. You have delivered me from so many things and places in my life and continue to. Thank You Lord!
But I pray for these and others Lord help them to see the path you have set befor them. Help them to choose life in every circumstances that is set befor them. And know that when your word says the violent take it(heaven) by force its a fight. It is going to take thier all and more to cry out and grasp for deliverance. To do what it takes and no less. If they need counseling help them to do that. If it takes repentance and confession to another help them to do that. Everyday help them to overcome by your blood and thier testimony.
Your word is Powerful and FULL of life! Jesus help them to get into your word and stay in it. Stay close to you. I pray that Your Holy Spirit would lead them into all truth. Its Your truth that WILL set them free.
Break the chains as You can only do. In your powerful way make a way of escape and freedom.
Psalms chapter 103 and 107 all. Keep pressn on,there is victory in the name of the Lord!

Re: quitting my addiction for the 1001th time today

Bless your heart...
Been there... done it... Rough, but Not impossible with
God. Best of luck anonymous and God bless you.
He will honor your heart and it's efforts. :)
Your Post was the Uttermost Truth. Where Two or more are
gathered together in My Name, there I Am in the Midst of them. Amen and Amen...
Ask for generational curses to be broken as well, Never
know if that could be where the addiction came from to begin with as in my case. :)
Gods gotcha!!!
Listen to song (By your side. By Tenth Avenue North. for some Great added support).

Re: quitting my addiction for the 1001th time today

Generational Curses are things passed down from our
Parents... which was past to them from there parents,
which was passed to them from there parents.
I believe it usually goes back to at least 3 Generations.
(If I'm wrong on the 3 generations back someone please correct me, Thanks...)
Read and study up on it,, If you know of any in your family
history, ask God to break it from you/yours.
Generational curses can come in Many forms... Ex.
Alcohol addiction, Drug addiction, Sexual addiction, Many......
Hope this helped you some...
God bless. ~S.
